TIFR, Mumbai: Visiting Students' Research Prog - 2012


TIFR conducts summer programme for students to give them exposure to research activities in areas of Biology, Chemistry, Computer Science, Mathematics, and Physics.

Duration: May 14 to July 6, 2012.

Stipend: Participants are paid a monthly stipend of Rs 7000/-, Sleeper class return railway fare and are provided with shared hostel accommodation.



Eligibility: 
Biology, Chemistry, Mathematics, Physics
Pre-final year students of:
(1)  M.Sc. in Applied Maths, Astronomy, Biosciences, Chemistry, Mathematics, Physics. 
(2)  B.E. / B.Tech with interest in Physics. 
(3)  Medicine / Engineering. 
(4)  Exceptionally bright B.Sc. students in Mathematics may be considered. 

Computer & Systems Sciences  
Pre-final year students of B.E. / B.Tech. / M.Sc. / M.C.A. / M.E. / M.Tech.
