Internship: Stanford India Biodesign Internship Programme
Duration: April 15, 2012 to July 15, 2012
Stipend: Rs 20000/- per month
Objective: To train the next generation of medical device innovation pioneers for India through hands-on real-world projects of low-cost medical device innovation run by teams of SIB Fellows with support from consultants and interns. The programme brings together engineers, doctors, product designers and business professionals to ensure successful identification, invention and implementation of solutions in the real world.
Funded by: Dept. of Biotechnology and Indo-US Science & Technology Forum.
Eligibility: Both experienced professionals and fresh graduates with Masters (preferred)/Bachelors in Engineering/Design/Medicine/Bioengineering/Business can apply. The age should not exceed 40 years. Candidates with entrepreneurial aspirations are encouraged to apply. Preference will be given to mechanical engineers and product designers.
