Joint CSIR-UGC National Eligibility Test (NET)
Joint CSIR-UGC Test is held for determining the eligibility of the Indian National candidates for the award of Junior Research Fellowships (JRF) NET and for determining eligibility for appointment of Lecturers (NET) in certain subject areas falling under the faculty of Science.

Eligibility: M.Sc. or Equivalent degree with minimum 55% marks for General & OBC candidates; 50% for SC/ ST candidates.
Age:
- For JRF (NET): Minimum 19 Years and maximum 28 years as on 01-01-2012
- For LS (NET): Minimum 19 years, as on 01.01.2012. No upper age limit.
