- MSc in Maths/Physics/Chemistry/Life Science or Computer Science with 60% marks.
- A pass in the National level eligibility tests (DBT, UGC, CSIR or Gate). Candidates without such scores may be considered for the position with a reduced fellowship @ Rs. 8,000 per month consolidated.
- Experience in Computational Biology will be given preference.
